Journey to the Diaconate - PDC Update #1

Friends, 

I have great news to share with you! Earlier this evening, the Vestry committed (David says unanimously) Christ Church's support of my discernment. After a brief introduction, I left the room, and David presented a summary of the PDC report. 

A signed declaration of their commitment and the PDC report will now be sent to the Diocese. This completes the Parish-level discernment, and I move on to the Diocesan-level which takes place over the summer as a Nominee for the Diaconate. 

Next in the journey... psychological evaluation (May), medical evaluation (June), and a meeting with Bishop Jennifer (August). 

I can't thank you all enough for being a part of this journey with me.
